The participants included the teaching faculty and our students.

The topic of the seminar was ‘Vedanta’ and how lessons from spirituality can be used in our workplace. The following are some points he discussed

• Prioritize-it is important to know the need behind your desires
• You are responsible for what you do
• Experience is the best teacher only if you are willing to learn from it.
• Money doesn’t give you happiness ,it makes you comfortable
• Spirituality is discovering your happiness
• Life is not a spectator show ,it is to get involved
• Ethics work in long term and not short term

In addition to this he suggested everyone to read the book “7 habits of highly effective people” by Steven Covey which provides an approach in attaining goals by aligning oneself to what he calls “true north” principles of acharacter ethic that he presents as universal and timeless.

Doubts and questions were answered by him in the best possible manner dealing with examples which best related to us.
