REDESIGNING PEDAGOGY: EDUCTAING FOR INNOVATION AND FOSTERING FOR SOCIETY

An Online Faculty Development Programme under the theme “Redesigning Pedagogy: Educating for Innovation and Fostering for Society” was organized on 26 March, 2022 from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. by Department of Human Resources of Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management.

This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was aimed to provide teachers with a framework for planning and discussing their current teaching practice and a guided method to plan for innovation. Post registration, the event was inaugurated by Dr V. B. Angadi Director, Prof. Anusha Patil, HOD –Human Resources, Dr. Arati Kale FDP Convener, Dr. Priyadarshini Nidhan FDP Coordinator, Prof. Rajan Gunabalan, Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management. The Guest of Honour for the FDP 2022, Dr. Srinivasan R. Iyengar: Director JBIMS Spoke about “Innovation and Edutainment for effective Teaching”, Dr. Shankar Murthy, Dean of Academics at NITIE spoke on topic “Develop an environment for providing Innovative Education and helping society”, Dr. Shiji Lyndon Assistant Professor, KJSIM spoke about ‘Teaching Practices for Gen Z Students” and Dr. Shikha Bhatia, Associate Professor, IMS, New Delhi Spoke on “Outcome –based Education”.

The audience consisted of 54 participants from various Universities/ Post-Graduation Institutes /Colleges across different states of India. Dr. Arati Kale, the FDP Convener, proposed the vote of thanks.

The FDP was appreciated by all the participants and it was a great success. The photographs of the Faculty Development Programme 2022 are attached.
