According to United Nations (FAO) prediction, the food production worldwide should see a 70% increase by 2050 to cater the ever growing population. Technology will play a central role in achieving this imperatives and experts believe that Future of Farming through IoT (Internet of Things) perspective, will be the enabler of Smart Farming revolution.
Recognising the need and relevance with respect to the Indian context, LLIM organised this National Seminar on the said topic. Industry experts like Dr. C.L. Dadhich, former Director, Rural Economics, Reserve Bank of India, Mr. Prashant Waghmare, AGM in the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Dr. N. Rajalakshmy, expert from academia and with abundant research experience, shared their expertise, experience and knowledge on different themes of Seminar to address students and faculties. There were many technical presentation from the faculty and students.
