Our students associated with Enactus have identified area where
they would provide empowerment to women workers in the Aarey Milk Colony.
The skill of the poor women needed for painting the diyas is identified.Our students linked the skill to a corporate-PIDILITE. This item after completion is for the corporates, which are using them for their Diwaligifts. This corporate linkage with skill of poor women’s artistic work has created employment opportunities for many women in the area of Aarey Milk Colony. This employment also generates income for them which gives empowerment. The items and the details are placed below for your information.
