INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)


The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the institute is constituted in accordance with Section 95 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.

Internal Quality Assurance cell (IQAC) is formulated for monitoring quality parameters in LLIM. IQAC serve as an effective & efficient internal coordinating & monitoring mechanism. The committee has been diligently involved for helping the administration & other committees by offering valuable suggestions & measures in order to have consistency in maintaining quality of LLIM.

Objectives of IQAC -:

• To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institute.

• To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and internationalization of best practices.

Functions & Responsibilities of the IQAC:-

• Development and application of quality benchmark / parameters for the academic and demonstrative activities of the institute.

• Conduct periodic academic and administrative audits to plan, guide and monitor quality assurance and quality enhancement for continuous improvement.

• Facilitating the creation of a learner centric environment conducive for quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.

• Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional process.

• Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.

• Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality.

• Documentation of the various programmes/activities of the institute, leading to quality improvement.

• Development of various reports of the institute based on the quality parameters / assessment criteria developed by relevant quality assurance body like NBA in prescribed format.
