Mr. Siddharth traversed through the journey of their organization GEP and how GEP became a leader in AI-Powered Procurement & Supply chain transformation. Mr. Siddharth emphasized the need for efficient supply chain and how automation contributes to supply chain efficiency measure. He enlightened the packed audience with eight steps for successful automation namely:
• Understand end goal outcomes of the process • Document existing process with all details • Identify points with manual inputs • Identify tasks that can be automated • Identify alternate ways to reach the outcome • Identify potential ways to automate • Develop, test & implement automation • Monitor process for exceptions Mr. Siddharth ended the session with simple example of automation using MS EXCEL.
