COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (CDC)


College Development Committee (CDC), formerly known as Local Management Committee (LMC).

The CDC is constituted as per provisions of Sec 97 of Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016.

The College Development Committee (CDC) is the apex body of LLIM that plans and executes the developmental activities. The College Development Committee is a very effective body in LLIM which serves as link between the colleges, student community and Administration. With a view to establish an effective interface between various agencies, LLIM has institutionalized College Development Committee (CDC).

Nominated members have a tenure of five years, if any vacancy occurs in the institute, the vacancy is filled within three months by the Governing Council.

Objective of the CDC :–

The prime objective of College Development Committee (CDC) is to prepare a comprehensive development plan of the institute on annual basis like administration, academic, placement, infrastructure and admission growth.

Functions & Responsibilities of the College Development Committee :–

• To prepare overall comprehensive development plan of the institute regarding academic, administrative and infrastructural growth and enable the institute to foster excellence in curricular, co- curricular and extra-curricular activities.

• To prepare annual financial estimates (budget) and financial statements of the institute and recommend the same to the management for approval.

• Consider and make appropriate recommendations of IQAC reports, audit reports, local inquiry reports and essential internal committee reports.
